  • Daycare Office Receptionist: Job Description
    Part-time position for a closing receptionist 3pm – 6pm available. A Catholic Child Development Center in Draper, Utah is searching for a qualified strong and pleasant receptionist. Must have strong communication skills, written and verbal, answering phone calls, organized, answering general questions, and positive thinking skills. It would be helpful for candidates to be knowledgeable in child development. Social Distancing guidelines in place for pick up procedure. Guardian Angel Daycare cares for children ages 6 weeks to 10 years old and is open from 7:00AM to 6:00PM.

    Responsibilities
    Sincere love for children and interaction with parents. Each employee is required to follow our vision, which entails keeping the children’s needs met at all times. Answering the phone when parents call, and coordinate with teachers for pick up. Verify that all children are picked up, and the building is secure, lights are out, all doors closed, and all staff has left for the day. Light cleaning duties throughout the day will be required. Computer and technical abilities are required. Must be able to lift 35 lbs.

      Student Services Assistant responsibilities:
      Check in late students or check out students that are leaving.
      Mark attendance for groups or teams that are missing classes.
      Notify teachers and staff of groups that need to leave if not at a natural class break.
      Call students that have items to pick up or need to meet with counselors, the nurse, or the dean.
      Update attendance for students throughout the day, making changes as necessary.
      Answer main Student Services phone, monitor the attendance automated line and email for messages from parents.
      Maintain the copy machine and printers located in the office.
      Manage the donated uniforms by organizing and washing items that come in.
      Manage the lost and found items, donating unclaimed items at the end of each quarter.
      Organize JD Picture Day, finding volunteers, sending in student/staff lists to Lifetouch photography,

      Be the main contact person for the Driver’s Education program; notify parents and students of dates,
      times,classes are held and gather student information for Wright Driving.
      Take lunch money from parents and students; log daily intake, turn in envelope to lunch program manager.
      Field questions from students/parents about lunch balances and account issues.
      Assist the nurse by giving out bandages, ice, medicine, concussion tracking forms.
      Assist the dean with finding teachers to sub when necessary.
      Compile and make afternoon announcements.
      Manage student fines from class fees, gum and uniform violations.
      Collect money and log payments from student fines/fees throughout the year and especially before finals.
      Notify faculty/students/parents of any outstanding fees/fines.
      Update rosters and print weekly football, basketball and volleyball programs.
      Maintain current and graduated student record files in backroom.
      Produce permission slips for field trips, provide nurse with record of students with medical considerations.
      Input and update sports teams within Powerschool.
      Distribute and track student parking passes.

      Minimum Qualifications include:
